Born and raised in Eastern Maine, Will St Peter grew up with a deep love of music and began to develop a passion for jazz guitar at the age of fifteen. Will St Peter began his studies on jazz guitar in Bangor, Maine with Daryl Rhodes. He continued to study and perform jazz while completing his undergraduate degree in Music Education at the University of Maine and during the three years he spent teaching music in Maine's public schools. In 2019 he earned his Master of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas studying under Davy Mooney. He is currently a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas as he pursues his doctoral degree in Jazz Performance. In 2019, he was recognized as a semifinalist at the Wilson Center Guitar Festival's Jazz Competition. Will regularly performs original compositions and standards across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
